Hany Mahmoud served as Egypt’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology from August 2012 to January 2013. Mahmoud has extensive experience in the field of information and communications technology on both the national and international levels, much of which he gained through working in multinational companies.

In 2011, Mahmoud was appointed Chairman of the Egypt Post, then he was named as the Director of the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) on 2 May 2011. In 2000, Mahmoud joined Vodafone Egypt as the General Manager of Human Resources, Administrative and Legal Affairs. During a decade with Vodafone, he served as Vice President of Vodafone Turkey from 2006 to 2007, Vice President of Vodafone Egypt from 2007 to 2008 and Chairman of Vodafone Turkey and Regional Director for Central Europe and Africa from 2009 to 2010.

Mr. Zaazou, started his career in Banking (Citi Bank Cairo) after his graduation in 1976 from the faculty of commerce – Ain- Shams University, traveled to the USA (Los Angeles) 1980 to start his career in tourism by joining R&H Voyages, a tour operator specialized in the Middle East.

After a successful Career in the private sector, both as an international tour operator (USA) and as professional ground handler (Egypt), culminated his private sector as the Executive Director of Egyptian Tourism Federation (ETF).  Zaazou joined the Government as Assistant Minister of tourism in 2007 promoted to senior Assistant Minister of tourism in 2009 (Being the first to assume this position in the history of the ministry of tourism).

Zaazou became Minister of Tourism of Egypt in 2012 till 2016 and served as Tourism Minister under three presidents and four prime ministers.

After his departure from public office in 2016, Zaazou returned to the private sector as a consultant working with several international and local prestigious organizations.

Furthermore, he was appointed on October 2017, as the special adviser for the Secretary-General of the UNWTO (UN World Tourism Organization) by his H.E Dr. Taleb Refaaii.

Prior to IdealRatings Mr. Donia was Co-Founder of Cogency Inc, a silicon valley start-up, where he helped define Cogency solutions for the hedge funds and fund of funds firms to become a leading solution provider with some of the world’s largest hedge funds and fund of funds as clients. Prior to Cogency, Mr. Donia was Vice President of Applications at TenFold corporation, a silicon valley start-up, which IPO’ed on NASDAQ in 1999, where he was responsible for leading customer engagements for Fortune 500 customers in the financial services, banking, insurance, and energy verticals. Mr. Donia held several management positions at PepsiCo, and started his career at Proctor and Gamble. Mr. Donia holds a B.SC in Computer Engineering from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt.

Formerly the Director of Animal Health and Development in the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment of the UAE, Dr. Al Qassimi is currently the Co-founder of Soma Mater, a MENA focused food security and sustainability consulting Firm. He has worked on projects, policy and regulation for agriculture, animal production, food safety, as well as conservation and sustainability.

Sherif is an established and reputable technology industry veteran with over 40 years of ICT experience. He has an exceptional track-record having assumed leadership roles in major multinational companies leading vast and diverse regions and organizations. Moreover, Sherif is an influence-builder and financial management champion that blends holistic management acumen with multilingual communications skills to manage expectations and circumvent roadblocks and obstacles to support clients, business owners, partners and co-workers goals and objectives.

Sherif is currently the Managing Director of Verto Wave, Egypt’s leading IT Solutions and Transformation company and prior was at DellEMC for 12 years. His most recent role at DellEMC was Senior Director of Professional Services for Middle East, Russia, Africa and Turkey. After the Dell acquisition of EMC, he led the Professional Services for EMC products and based on the successful results; in 2019, he was asked to integrate and lead the Integrated Professional Services Team for the entire product portfolio of Dell Technologies. Before DellEMC, Sherif was Technical Services Manager for Egypt and Levant at then HP for 6 years. He managed the delivery operation for Egypt and Levant which included new systems implementation projects, break fix and Services Sales. In that role, he managed to build a strong customer focused team that have supported the growth of the HP Enterprise systems while growing the services business by 3.5 folds and growing the margin through upselling value services and introducing new high value services. Prior to HP, Sherif presumed key roles at Pyramid Technology Solutions, Kodak and Xerox. He has consistently improved delivery times and service levels whilst successfully reducing costs and excels at strategic planning, building high-performance teams, project management and implementing best practice methodologies and continuous improvement programs and has led successful and world-class business transformation programs across his career. Sherif graduated from Ain Shams University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
